I was reading “Eat This, Not That“, and the author said Chick-Fil-A is the healthiest fast food restaurant. Non of their sandwich is over 500 calories. I have never tried this place. After grocery shopping at Whole Foods, I spotted Chick-Fil-A in the same shopping plaza and decided to try it for lunch.
Chicken Sandwich ($3.09)
I got their classic Chicken Sandwich. “A boneless breast of chicken seasoned to perfection, hand-breaded, pressure-cooked in peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips.”
When I first saw the chicken sandwich, I thought it was small, and looked very simple and plain. It was just a piece of chicken with two pickles, not even any sauce. Honestly, I was a little disappointed and didn’t expect much at all.
Then I took a bite. Wow! The chicken tasted really good. It was moist and tender, and I really like the seasoning they used. The chicken wasn’t oily at all. The sandwich really didn’t need any sauce. It was very flavorful. The small sandwich was actually very filling. I was really full after finishing the sandwich.
What a pleasant surprise! I really like the food at Chick-Fil-A. And to know that all sandwich is under 500 cal definitely will make me feel less guilty when eating their food. I have to come back again to try more of their chicken sandwiches now!

I really like chick-fil-a. Too bad, the closest one from here is half an hour away. From time to time, still like to take an extra trip to either Ontario or Long Beach to eat there.

A lot of people like Chick-Fil-A, but I never understood it. I have tried it on a few separate occasions, but each time I am left feeling unsatisfied. Their food tastes so average to me. Last time I got their nuggets and they were the saltiest thing I have ever eaten.

Agree with Pink, they are salty but a good alternative to other fast food nuggets. I like their Polynian Sauce (aka sweet and sour sauce) I always get the waffle fries and the chicken salad sandwich. By the way, please try the sweet tea they serve (make sure go with half unsweeten and half sweeten)

I had my first taste of Chick-Fil-A when I was about 12ish in a mall food court (it was one of the 3-4 restaurants it did have). A couple years ago when I was still in college, they built a Chick-Fil-A in our bookstore and I ate there all the time. There is one about 10 minutes from my house now. They have great food.
And their honey mustard sauce is the best I’ve ever had.
