NCL Mexican Riviera Cruise Day 4: Blue Lagoon Snack
After dinner, Dr. P went to the cigar lounge to have some man fun. I stayed in the room to relax… by playing some computer games. Yes, I brought my laptop so I can play games and watch DVDs. Yes, I am a nerd and proud of it. After Dr. P came back to the room, we weren’t exactly hungry. But we just wanted to go get some food from Blue Lagoon only because it was available. We decided to bring some food back to the room and watch a DVD before going to bed.
Artichoke Dip
I thought the artichoke dip with chips would be a good snack to watch a DVD with. But the artichoke dip wasn’t that good. It was like water down cheesy soupy dip. We didn’t really like it.
Chef’s Salad
Dr. P like the salad from last time so we ordered it again. It was just as good.
Prosciutto, Tomato, Cheese & Basil Panini
Then I got greedy when I saw the panini on the menu. Prosciutto, tomato cheese and basil. Mmmmm…. It just looked so good. Had to order it. It was a really good sandwich. Pesto sauce on ciabatta bread with prosciutto, tomato, cheese and basil. Yum!
French Fries
Fries was for the DVD. Since they don’t have popcorn, I had to settle with fries. (Isn’t that a good excuse? haha.)
Cheesecake
I didn’t want the cheesecake. But Dr. P insisted that I would want it later so ordered it anyway. I ended up finishing it all. Thanks, Dr. P… for making me fat. This was one good cheesecake. Much better than the dessert we had earlier for dinner.
We really like the food at Blue Lagoon. Maybe even a little better than the main dining room. The little place was always busy any time of the day and now I know the reason.
Our stomach was full of food when we went to bed. Next destination, Puerto Vallarta!
