I discovered a tiny little Japanese takeout restaurant on Sawtelle. The name is Sawtelle Tempura House, but they don’t really sell tempura. They open from 9am to 3pm. There was one very nice old Japanese lady behind the counter. Most people come here to get lunch takeout.
Bento ($5.50)
Their specialty is the Bento. I think the bento is different everyday. But I’ve only been there once, so still not sure. The bento I got had chicken, fried fish, egg, and 3 different types of veggies. Everything tasted really good. I like it a lot. The rice was served hot, but the bento was served cold. I think Japanese usually serve their bento cold.
Yakitori Chicken Rice ($6.00)
They also have couple daily special each day of the week. Yakitori Chicken was one of the choices for Thursday. It came with rice, noodle, veggie and the main dish of your choice. I didn’t eat this. Dr. P liked it. But I thought my bento looked much more appealing than this one.
Can’t wait to go back again to have the Bento. Wonder what will be in it next time?

最近被功课的事弄得心烦啊 但偶尔上来看看 还是很开心的。
我也要面临选专业的问题了呢 很喜欢传媒类。但对选学校和具体科系完全摸不到头脑！！
因为看了之前的日志 想起来好像Eileen在唱片公司之类的待过的么。感觉遇到大救星了。
我也想要在类似entertainment company工作啊~
希望Eileen 能好心提供给我些意见~ 让我这漂泊的小船也早点靠了岸吧。。。
