Take-out is not the way to go. To really appreciate the Apple Pan you need to sit at the counter on a stool and watch the cooks do their stuff. The way you're served the burger, fries, and soda is memorable and you miss out on all that by not actually going. Secondly you ordered the correct burger but I think you'd like it more if you ordered double cheese. Otherwise the taste of the Tilamook cheddar gets lost in the slightly overpowering but lovely hickory sauce. Thirdly, and most importantly, the pie. Apple pie from the Apple Pan is totally subpar once you've had the banana cream. My god... the banana cream pie is wonderful. Go now and order the banana cream pie and prepare to taste heaven. I've heard great things about their sandwiches (combination, tuna, and egg salad) but have yet to try them.
