Korean Bulgogi Dinner

I really like the marinated meat from Korean market.  It makes great dinner for lazy cook.

Bulgogi & Kimchi

Bulgogi + kimchi + rice = easy and yummy Korean dinner.

I bought a box of marinated bulgogi from H-Mart for about $4.50.  A small package of enoki mushroom was $0.33.  I had some onion at home.  I sauteed sliced onion in some olive oil, then added the marinated bulgogi with all the sauces, when beef was almost done, added the enoki mushroom.  The beef was soft, and the flavor was great.  Dr. P and I both like it a lot.

I want to buy the marinated kalbi, but the price is about 5 times more expensive.  A box of kalbi is about $25.  I think we’ll stick with bulgogi for now.

    Hey Eileen,

You can also try the marinated meat from Freshia Market at Redhill/Walnut. Their marinate is more flavorful than H-Mart and they weight the meat for you instead of pre-packaged.

I read on Yelp that their side dishes are 50% off after 6pm.
I’m gonna check out Freshia next week. Thanks for the info, Linda! ^^
