[Irvine] [Taiwanese] 品客多 Tapioca Express

After spicy Chinese dinner, we went to Tapioca Express in the same plaza to get boba milk tea.

鹽酥雞 Crispy Chicken

We saw the sign at the counter for Crispy Chicken + Drink combo special for $5 something.  We’ve had crispy chicken from quite a few different places in Irvine.  I have to say, the crispy chicken from this Tapioca Express was the best we’ve had so far.  The chicken was all in big pieces, no bone, just tender juicy chicken meat.  The breading and the spiciness was perfect.  They even added basil.  Love it!

波霸奶茶 Boba Milk Tea

But the Boba Milk Tea wasn’t as good as before.  The boba was a bit hard, like it had been sitting there all day.  The taste was good though.

I would go back anytime for their Crispy Chicken though!

Did you try Tea Station’s crispy chicken? My husband and I both think it is the best.

I’ve tried the crispy chicken from Cha For Tea, which is the same company as Tea Station.
I think it really depends on the individual stores. I had crispy chicken at Tapioca Express in Arcadia and it was horrible.
But this one in Irvine was great.

    Hi~
You should definitely try the crispy chicken at lollicup!!
The one in a plaza across from Mt. San Antonio College.
For some reason that lollicup is own by Koreans..but somehow i think their crispy chicken(well..they called popcorn chicken there..) is just like the ones i had in Taiwan! and their chicken is incredibly tender there~

A classmate told me about the chicken at that lollicup, too!
And she’s a Caucasian girl. She said her Asian friend bought a bag, she tried one, and becomes addicted after that one bite.
When school starts, I’m definitely going to go to that location to try!
